Insulating the floor of your home benefits you mainly during the winter and especially if you have wood or tile floors. All new construction homes are required to have R-19 under the floors of raised foundation homes. To insulate your floors Quality Insulation will crawl under your home and place R-19 through R-38 fiberglass insulation between the joists. Wire supports called "lighting rods" are then placed under the middle and ends of each fiberglass batt.  This prevents the material from sagging over time.
